Hi Mary,

I have seen the two pdf, and I want to know, if the space translated by a LATTICE cell contains three region, for example as follow,

the space translated by lattice cell TARGR1 contains 3 regions, TARGS1, TARGS2, TARGS3, so TARGR1 contains 3 replicas, then the

replica of TARGS1 is a new region or not ? if it is a new region, how to define the name of it and call it, if not, dose the replica belong to

region TARGS1?

Example: (the details is in attachment)

* Bodies

* ------

* Lead target:

* cylinder to contain target

ZCC TARG 0.0 0.0 5.0

* planes limiting the target

XYP ZTlow 0.0

XYP ZThigh 10.0

* planes segmenting the target

XYP T1seg 1.0

XYP T2seg 2.0

* additional planes to limit target replicas

XYP PR1 20.0

END

* Regions

* -------

* Target segment 1

TARGS1 5 +TARG -ZTlow +T1seg

* Target segment 2

TARGS2 5 +TARG -T1seg +T2seg

* Target segment 3

TARGS3 5 +TARG -T2seg +ZThigh

* Target replica 1

TARGR1 5 +TARG +PR1 -ZThigh

END

LATTICE TARGR1 1.0 1.0 1.01tra

GEOEND

* ..+....1....+....2....+....3....+....4....+....5....+....6....+....7...

ROT-DEFI 1.0 0.0 -10.01tra

Hi Chan,

Each replica requires an individual REGION entry, an individual LATTICE entry, plus an individual ROT-DEFI entry.

There is an example in:

https://www.fluka.org/free_download/course/dresden2013/Lectures/16_Advanced_Geometry_1013.pdf

and another example in pages 50 - 53 of:

http://marychin.org/shows/fluka_intro.pdf

Hi

  I am trying to use LATTICE and ROT-DEFI card for producing geometry, but I have a problem with it.

  When I use lattice card to copy region REG1, so does the new geometry replicated belong to region REG1, or it is a new region ? if it is a new region ,what is the name of it, and how to call the region?

  Can anyone help me with this?

Sincerely,
