Dear Karol

The conversion coefficients available in FLUKA are identical to those in deq99c and therefore the latter is not needed/supported anymore.

deq99c is based on the FLUKA user routine fluscw and you could follow the same approach for implementing your own conversion coefficients.

Cheers
Stefan

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: How to implement dose conversion coefficients

Dear Fluka Expersts

I would like to kindly aks you how could I implement my own conversion factor from fluence to dose equivalent in Fluka.

I have found on the fluka webpage that there are many kinds of fluency to effective / ambient dose conversion coefficients:
http://www.fluka.org/fluka.php?id=examples&sub=example4&node=6#sec-res

There is an information about the file name: deq99c.f, subdirectory: flutil, specially prepared for implemented conversion factor. I have found on the fluka discussion that this special subroutine is not supported anymore.

Moreover, I have found in the Fluka Lectures, that the Auxscore Card defines filters and conversion coefficients, but in the Auxscore, I can use only a few default conversion coefficients (EAP74, ERT74, ..) https://www.fluka.org/free_download/course/portugal2010/Lectures/AdvancedScoring2010.pdf page 15.

My main questions:

How could i implement my own conversion coefficients?
Which subroutine should I use, and how should it looks like?
Could I kindly ask you for any demo, (if someone of you have got similar problem/work before) to see how should subroutine looks like, and how to implement it.

I would be very grateful for your help.

Best regards
Karol Szymczyk
