Dear Tim
It follows the definition of beam energy/momentum, i.e. is per nuclear mass unit for HEAVYION
Cheers
Stefan

Subject: [fluka-discuss]: Beam card: momentum spread of heavy ions per atomic mass unit?
Dear Fluka users,
I have one quick question related to the beam card. I would like to specify a momentum spread of heavy ions and I am not sure about the unit.
Should I specify it per atomic mass unit, as it is done for the energy/momentum of heavy ions in the beam card (see manual: "In this case WHAT(1) will mean the energy (or momentum) PER UNIT ATOMIC MASS, and not the total energy or momentum.") ?
Or should I give WHAT(2) as total momentum spread, not dividing by the atomic mass unit?
Thanks for your help and best regards,
Tim Gehrke
