>From the answers of Alfredo Ferrari, it appears that FLUKA can well
be run on 64-bit machines, but using 32-bit binaries.
On the other hand, there have been problems of installing properly
g77 on some Linux distributions such as SUSE. I don't know if it is
your case and if the solution offered by Joseph Comfort could be useful
