what you get is, for each z, the AVERAGE value of the scored quantity
within the x and y limits you choose. This is valid for all usrbin types,
energy, fluence, activity etc.
The values in the projection fielsd depend on your setup. You can safely
average over regions where your "value" is uniform, but if you look for
peak values you'll have to limit the range. Try to make 2-D plots or
projections on the three axis to get an idea, and try to vary the range
and look at stability of results. There is no universal recipy.
