Dear Mina

The g77 version runs only on 32 bit libraries, it is not possible to
compile it on 64 bit, also because of compatibility issues on binery
files. The 32 bits libraries can be installed on 64 bits machines.
Instructions for the Ubuntu distribution can be found in the answers to
http://www.fluka.org/web_archive/earchive/new-fluka-discuss/3740.html

For gfortran, gfortran >= 4.6 is needed. Earlier versions miscompile the
code. We are sorry for the inconsistency on the fluka web site. Thank you
for spotting this, now should be corrected.
Ciao
