Re: [fluka-discuss]: How to determine the fraction of deposited energy going into ith scintillation photon emission in the "OPT-PROD" card?

Dear Xiaokun Zhao,

just an addendum to my previous answer. The result of the calculation:
2 x 9.686 10^-2
is correct like this, this is exactly the fraction of deposited energy going
in scintillating photons.
In the example reported you find the half value (thanks Paola for the
explanation!) because in that particular case the authors wanted to generate
less photons to save cpu time, they correct offline for the factor 2. We will
clarify this point in the manual.

Kind regards,
Anna
