 It might be that you tried to compile the code with 32 bit (i.e. not
defining the FLUFOR) and the actdline.o got created by mistake in 32 bit.
In this case I would suggest you to do a "cd $FLUPRO; make clean"

 Are you sure that you are running on a 64 bit ubuntu?
Can you post the results of
