Dear Amin,
Once you have opened the example.inp file through flair, RUN tab, start (blue) button.
Then you will see the after a few seconds the status bars in the bottom of the windows.

Thank for your kind help. The the virtual machine is installed and i used flupix-2011.2c-1_flair-2.1-6 as an image. It is running and open the fluka
- The problem is just how to run an example.
- I copied the example.inp to another directory called mytest.
now How to run fluka for the example.inp

Do you have problems in setting correctly the virtual machine or just running an example?
If the latter, you can find an example to run in the folder /usr/local/fluka/example.inp.
My suggestion is to copy/paste the input file in a new folder (to avoid to create all the output files in the fluka directory) and try to run this example.

Thanks a lot . I had today installed Oracle VM Virtual box, and start the FLUPIX. but I still have problem to run fluka. The script of the steps should i follow is not clear.
hope you or some one can just help me to run first example.

at the moment FLUKA can run only under a Linux environment.
Even if you cannot install directly FLUKA on windows you can run it on a virtual machine.
Once you have installed the VrtualBox you can use FLUPIX (a Linux Live CD with pre-installed FLUKA, flair and all the necessary tools in for performing FLUKA runs) or alternatively you can create a Linux machine and perform a clean FLUKA installation
