Hi Yua,

The import function is called inside python. I would suggest have a look
at a python guide (http://docs.python-guide.org/en/latest/intro/learning/
for example).

I would suggest you to uninstall the version you have of pydicom and
install the version below 1.0. For example:

pip install pydicom==0.9.9


This should work.
