    Yes you can. At present I am running FLUKA under Fedora Core 6
    You have to install all relevant rpm's named compat*
    compat-gcc-*
    compat-gcc-*-g77-*
    etc. etc.
    They are already in the standard Fedora Core 6 distribution.
